I would mix both softwood and hardwood as people have said they all burn well when dry. When i lived in sweden we burn pine and birch all burnt well and very hot, especially in the saunas too.

 

Keep options open and educate yourself and people better,

 

SOFTWOOD GOOD,

Allowing for moisture loss of 20% your 60 ton will be 50 ton by the time you sell it, assuming you make £200 a ton thats 10k, less operating costs... You need a lot more wood mate.:001_smile:
