I've have my 540 for about 1 year now and it's starting to struggle to start once warm. I've heard it's the auto tune but the manual says nothing other than start and cut big logs for 3-5 mins. Any tips/though would be helpful.8f83b99a3bc39e15181426549f9a8008.jpg

Just out of interest have you tried resetting the A/T ? I had a problem with mine and it turned out to be a fuel valve ( electronic I think ) that was replaced by my dealer for free .

The plugging in does ( unless you have the software ) but re setting the A/T your self can be donre as above buy cutting the full length of the bar for 3-5 mins as per the book .

Cut cookies or rings flat out with out letting off the throttle in between cuts and it should retune and settle down.

Thanks MattyF, I will give this a try tomorrow. Its so annoying when the saw does this. Plenty of big logs at the yard
