first job with tpo's???!!! any help appreciated.

Ive always worked for other people so never had to deal with this side of the job. i'm going to be working for two neighbouring customers on their boundary. i checked for tpos on the council website and it came up tith two protected cedars and one protected scots pine. where i am confused is there are three western red cedars and there are two scots pines. how do i know which ones have a tpo and which ones don't. the councils web page is ****. is there any other info online with more detail. thanks.

Give the TO a call most will be happy to advise so they don't have to deal with unnecessary applications/site visits. Normally reach them by calling the planning department.

The council and more importantly, TO's, are there to help you the vast majority of the time.

 

Get talking to them, get them on a site visit to put a face to a name and they will help you in the future. I get TPO tree work recommendations from a TO as he knows the work gets done to a good standard.

Yep exactly what Rob says, we also work closely with our local TO and it does get you a lot of recommendations also don't be nervous about asking their advice, ours anyway is very knowledgeable and more than happy to help with any problems .
