Do you think a chainsaw mill, using a lawnmower engine could work?

Because lawnmower engines are very cheap, very easy to work on and have a decent amount of power.

I am not actually thinking of doing this as I recon it would be bloody dangerous, But I would be really interested to hear your thoughts on it.

I don't think it would be fast enough to drive a chain effectively, a bandsaw blade would be more appropriate for a 4 stroke.

The 4 stroke would have a bit more torque so I would think it'll be possible to gear up the drive for the chain to achieve a respectable speed..........
