Ok . Once again .......I prefer full chiz . Some say semi chiz lasts longer in " dirty wood " but I recon a dull chain is a dull chain whatever the cutter type .

I find the semi easier to sharpen... no real preference otherwise...

Buy easier to you mean less filling? They both need the same angles

 

Would rather do a couple more strokes on a full chisel for that extra speed in the cut :thumbup1:

There is no right or wrong answer here just preference.

I prefer full chisel,faster cutting but slightly higher on havs and easier to dull,bit more hassle to sharpen.Semi chisel is more forgiving,easier to sharpen,can take a bit more abuse without dulling and less vibs.

Depends on the user and application really.

But in time you will have your own preference.
