Carvers - potential commission

Crazy Euc stem - possible carving commission (is Euc an appropriate type for carving??)

 

Took this Euc down, stem remains to approx 3m height.

 

Would anyone be interested in a commission in SE Cornwall??

 

It's at a primary school (pixie, fairies, dragons??) funds are tight but it's open to consideration if someone was interested??

Wouldn't carve it once cut, but never tried when it's still in the ground. Splits in a star pattern from the inside.

How about a tree house looks a great platform to start from..... oooer health and safety problems though, not like when I was a lad!!!!!!

That was my alternative option and it's (loosely) been prepp'd for that potential.

 

A treehouse I can "do", carving is way beyond my rather clumsy skill-set!!

I think it would be far better for the youngsters to have a tree house, brilliant!

tree house is a good idea. Ive carved Euc... its ok. dam hard to kill though, likely to send shoots out from the base in my experience

Its really, really hard to kill, I'd be surprised if it didn't send out dozens of shoots, still, house in the middle of a bush would solve all the health and safety issues though wouldn't it?

I'd say that's unlikely to comeback if it does potentially its unlikely to survive.

Unfortunately euc holds too much water once it dries it splits open bad.
