Problem starting stihl 075

Glad to hear it's working. The linkage on these saws is bits of wire which can sometimes get slightly trapped in the loops, causing them not to move. Not that it is your current issue but it is possible to put the whole air filter base in with the choke wire loop trapped the wrong side and only find out at the end (guess how I know this...)

You can only really tell whether the tuning is right or not once the saw has warmed up.

Thanks all, yes I have used it for good 20 minutes and it was very warm, cut few logs with it. Not as fast cutting as my smaller saws but I guess this is normal.

Even when saw was hot it will start only with half throttle on and will not stay idle.

As Alec said it was the wire trapped under the base and worked only when I took it off and put it back.

The Genius got it right. It is the throttle lock, for some reason was not working. I thought I have checked it and it was fine but then I have checked again and despite the cable move it was not doing anything then it sorted it self out.

Once throttle worked I was able to run the saw easily.

I guess still some carb adjustment needed. Saw Rev up very good and engine sounded strong and fine with no smoke.

When saw started with throttle lock the chain will run, when saw idle the chain will not run but the saw will idle only for 2-3 second and then will die.

I guess carb need some adjustment but this Is not a problem.

Thanks for every body who helped me out.

He shoots, he scores:thumbup: Glad it is working OK and the fine carb adjustment can be done now the saw is running.
