Seem to always be slaying poplars lately.

These were awkward - right on the boundary, previously topped at 30 foot, but over 100 foot high now. Rigging was 'entertaining' (at least it was for me - Pete McTree was'nt quite as entertained...)

I dislike pop's. i take it there is no other way of climbing them than with skipes

 

I dunno, I've never tried climbing in Skipes. :D

There eas enough to climb for pruning, Just have to watch for getting our foot stuck.

I'd make Pete leave some of that crap on his harness on the ground, it would half his weight and he would work far quicker.
