Martyn - not far from Alford mate.

 

Good Climber in Insch. Pm me for details. He don't thinkl he have electric tickets though..but none the less best climber i have ever worked with.

 

Also another guy out in ryhnie who is real good.

Be prepared to add a month onto that date you have if your goin for a shutdown they usually take awhile.Give me a shuot if you need a hand.:001_smile:

It's out of my hands now Jamie..

What a nightmare of a job.. typical beaurocracy gets in the way of a nice little job.

 

We'll have to go for a shutdown, and the start date will be put back a while. Should all be getting sorted out though - will give you a shout if we need a hand.

Matt - If it's a Low Voltage line, then you are fully within the law to work within 9 meters. if its a High Voltage line, then you have to be a minimum of 18 meters away. A shutdown is only required if its impossible to dismantle the tree without coming within 1.2 meters of a live LV line.

Thats exactly the info I needed to hear..

We'll be able to get a shut down sorted and I can do the job myself which suits me fine..

You dont need a shut down. If theres a shutdown needed, then you should'nt be doing it.
