7 years I've worked with some-one who is often tardy in the mornings and who never apologises for delaying the depart. Then falls asleep in the cab or simply sulks for the entire outward journey. Never felt he had to justify his time keeping to me.

Me but no more.

Once I thought the benefits of a business partner outweighed the negatives.

Now I realise it was akin to being trapped in an abusive marriage were one partner feels afraid to leave for fear of what they might lose when in fact they have everything to gain.
