Thanks guys the pickup conversion could be an option but we have got a fair amount of kit including ladders. Does anybody manage with a single cab transit tipper or should We just bite the bullet and go for a double transit tipper or simillar.

Just read my first post, probably was not clear enough. Meant to imply going from a Ranger to transit tipper or similar. Sorry if I've confused anybody.

I'll post up a photo of our present setup.

I used to run a single cab Transit, absolute ballache constantly shifting tools and kit.

I run a double cab now with the back seats racked out, but there's a lot of wasted space (the seats are still in there).

Something like this would be the best option for arb work (with greedy boards).ed0fa0fc644b3452220253ce6c0b00d8.jpg

Always had singles, amazing what you can fit in a chipper hopper or burry in chip. Even the tool locker on our single cab takes to much space up and barely gets used any way.

Running single cab transit here. I find the double cab is a right old bus to manoeuvre. Planning on getting a tool box made up like on the sprinter In the picture. At the moment it's tools on the back. Would prefer them locked away out of sight.

If it's transit, unless your planing on carrying over 2 passengers about, single cab with box behind cab works well for me, much more Secure plus the tipper body has 10mm steel plates that slide over & protect tool box doors
