I do wonder at the mentality of some people who try to keep things running! Whoever looked after or used this was sure to become a candidate for the Darwin Awards. The safety or control bar is on upside down offering no protection and only minor control, even if they fitted the cable probably.

tbh it looks a basket case..... money too hard earnt to throw it at something like that!

 

 

 

I'd rater spend X3 as much and have a machine that you can go straight to work with! :thumbup1:

He wants a Safetrak fixer upper for no money - depending on his skills and how cheaply it could be bought for it may fit the bill. It's got tracks, legs, hydraulics, the correct safety features (incorrectly fitted) and a flywheel with knives (I assume) - could be a good starting point if approached correctly?

Will be lucky to find a Safetrak in budget otherwise IME (although I do know of a nice 1623 Safetrak about to be sold, but will stretch that budget a tad).
