I'd also be tempted to suggest a tripod mounted 12V LED task light (if you can find one or the parts to make one up).

12V so you can use a spare car battery for power

Tripod mounted in case there is no handy tree you can hang it off

Task light lights up a larger area than a head torch

Headlight,s we use as we work nights a lot are Hope R8 there about £250 & worth every penny the battery's last and there's a long cable so you can keep the battery in your pocket if any thing brakes on the light or battery it gets replaced FOC like snap on tools

 

There used mainly for mountain or road bikers & joggers etc so built tuff

 

But you could also just nip down to screw fix & buy a couple of site light tripods and some LED battery flood lights

 

We also use these on site there very good and illuminate the work site very well total cost per rig is £75 we use 2 rigs to keep H&S happy
