Hi. I chap I know has asked to buy these oak stems for milling. I've cut them to his requirements of about 2.4m and the big one with the chainsaw on at 3.4m.

The big one is 38" diameter and the the other tree is about 28" diameter although the bottom section has some rot starting in it.

I'm not sure on prices for milling so if someone could give me a rough price I'd appreciate it.

It's track side in a wood if that helps.

Thanks in advance.

I'm selling mine way too cheap then most of my oak goes at £3 £3.50hf

Well then give me a shout next time you have some decent oak!

Accessibility is always a big factor when buying trees, the more difficult they are to get to and recover the less I want to pay.

I've just priced one up at £3hf as access is across a waterlogged field and through deep muddy track.
