Tracked chipper hire.

We have a tracked chipper that is not used much at the moment, so I’m going to test the water and see if people want to rent it out, it will come with 1 operative who will hold relevant chipper tickets and a cscs card, (unfortunately no chainsaw ticket). We are based in North Devon but willing to send people further afield pending on the job. I have had a look around and seen that a tracked chipper would cost around £170 per day, with no operative. We will be looking at £250 per day, but would be able to do a deal on longer rentals. Anyway if anyone is interested please feel free to pm me.

INMO a mistake to hire it out without a chainsaw operator. The number of times that branches need a fork off is could become very annoying in a day. Or worse still detrimental to the motors as the operator makes it fit. Just my thoughts.

Pricewise I think your overpriced. I don't pay more that £120 a day to hire one and I only hire it every so often so won't be getting the best deal out there. So £130 a day for an chipper feeder. He'd have to be good to make it worth my while.

Then again there are big regional price differences so not sure what it's like down your way.
