Trespass

Question

Why would a qualified local aborist owner/operator with good reviews and risk his reputation by trespassing on my property to work on a tree on my property and then bulls***t me that he can legally cut branches overhanging neighbours side! Told him whilst up the tree that all he had to do was knock at door rather than his team risk being eaten by my dog. He's know ignored my phone call asking for his bill, thinks I will ignore his law breaking. Any advice, thinking of giving his yard a recce as I know how twitchy he get.

I like to give them a knock first, even apparently gruff neighbours have said 'while you're here then how much to do so and so' and before you know it there's a bit more folding money to stuff in your jacket pocket .

👍 neighbours often have "issues" with each other that only actually exist in their own minds and are easily overcome by the timely intervention of a polite, patient and understanding 3rd party. If it leads to additional business, all the better!

And if all else fails, and there really is an impasse, there's always the Access to Neighbouring Land Act
