Internal Combustion in Super Slow Motion

 

It's interesting, it plainly shows the smooth propagation of the flame on the over rich mix of petrol, the alcohol isn't as smooth and there looks like some detonation. I'm surprised it ran at all with the liquid in the cylinder. I suspect some of this was the 10% water in the rubbing alcohol.

 

I thought the acetylene a bit pointless but it did seem to show a bit of combustion of residual mixture from the wasted spark. the wasted spark igniting
