Hi all

I'm new to arb work and have received a lot of helpful advice from posters on arbtalk; thank you.

Thought it might be useful to say I'm a commercial property lawyer (3 days a week) and now do arb work part time after 10 years full time in the office.

If anyone needs any general advice around property law issues feel free to PM me, or I check arbtalk pretty regularly so start a new topic. (I'm not trying to tout for business - hopefully that's clear).

I won't be able to advise on specifics or work on documents etc. but should be able to point in the right direction and be a voice from someone who knows the arb industry.

(My knowledge of TPOs and conservation is limited - I've seen replies from other posters more clued up than me on that, but happy to help if I can.)

I know a massive amount about falling off motorbikes, poor DIY, and arguing with my wife - if anyone needs any advice about these things I am always here!

A property expert is definitely a handy resource - thanks for the offer!

Have you seen the recent "non tree related legal advice" thread?

Sounds like a good chance to offer some advice.

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
