Hi all, currently working overseas but have been toying with the idea of coming home and going freelance. Got 3 years full time climbing experience under my belt, working in Australia, New Zealand and Norway.

What would be the going day rate for a climber with a full set up including saws, rigging kit, and 4wd pick up? Mostly in the south west UK and are the guys already doing this getting enough work or has it got too fierce?

Cheers

150's is the usual go. But go back to Australia man, I got back 2 months ago and am regretting majorly. Had to come home for family reasons but man I'm going back out soon as. $500 a day was my rate. You won't get anywhere near as much back home in the uk

👍🏼👍🏼this, couldn't agree more. You get thrashed in oz but the quality of life is better and so is the money.

It all depends on how good you are and the sort of companies you work for :/

If you are after good money, I would agree with the stay in Aus idea :)
