haha, the insurance company cant, but when they banckrupt you, the insolvancey brigade CAN, and WILL take your house if the court says they can!

If there is equity, and your partner/spouse/family mamber cant buy your share, then they can take it, work tools are different, what they normally do with a house, is put a 'charge' on itso if/when you sell it. they get part profit.

I would love to read a REAL documented example, we hear so many "tales of woe".

 

I have had 2 claims, and was asked very little.

 

One of lads came out of a tree, HSE wanted (Bruno Porter) RA, Loler, ALL his certificates, CV, experience any refresher training.......its easier to just make sure everything is in order, you still get the SS treatment, but no fine! everyones a winner!

I came out of a MEWP with another bloke who was seriously injured.

 

They wanted nothing to do with it, I even rung them to try and get them to get involved they didn't want to know because no one was killed

our lad had....broken right leg, elbow, all right hand ribs, pelvis broke in 2 place, 3 vertibrae, punctured lung, and massive internal bleeding!

 

So nearly dead :ohmy:
