Hi all So Many thanks to everyone that has been giving me help and advice and contacts to help me gain some work .

 

This week it all come together . This week I have been at my first job with a tree surgery company . It has been amazing ,the lads that I have working with have been great ,a real pleasant bunch to be with . I am off again tom for another day and another place .

 

Next Week I am off to do Clarence work looking forward to it as it will be different again to what I have done the last few days so will see all different types of work in Arb.

 

As the rain came pelting down in on top of me then all the way through till it could get in no further in . I just laughed to myself and with a big smile on my face and said Its the Best job going .

 

I should of started down this path many years ago but better late then never. bring it on birng it on :thumbup::thumbup:

So pleased for you too that great news.

 

I think the hardest part is getting the first go in but then after that when you finaly get a day or to and they see you are goood and really work very hard i think it gets better as they will want you back again .

Thank you, and you are spot on. The hardest thing of all is getting the initial break, and the biggest buzz was being asked back for a second day, and then getting the first full week after that :thumbup:

great news guys, i have forgotten what it is like to be starting out, i remember my first day in the surge, well i drove up the night before for a practice run to see how long it would take me, i was so nervous. The other lads seemed so laid back and bored with the job, i was like tigger, asking loads of questions, running about daft taking all the overtime i could get. within a few weeks i was driving the mog about, no one else wanted to. i would start earlier than everyone else so i could tidy the yard in the jcb, then get all the kit started and saws ready. And i was getting paid aswell:thumbup:the money was rubbish and i dropped wages to take the job but it was a dream come true. driving mogs and climbing trees. doesnt get any better:thumbup1:
