These are mostly specialist retail outlets not your run of the mill B&Q type places where joe public may decide to visit on a boxing day. Most Arbs know what they want/need and buy at appropriate times. Would you expect plumb centre or an electrical wholesalers to have a boxing day sale?

Do your customers ask for post xmas discounts? How would you react to such a request?

 

Every penny they reduce is entirely off their profit margin. We all NEED certain things so why should retailers reduce stuff if we have to buy it eventually?

 

We should consider ourselves lucky to have all the great retailers out there - just order what we friggin well need, just before we need it.

 

Keep it up you great retailers - you know who you are.
