Looks usable but not cheap!

Why do you never see short sleeved versions?

I have been looking for ages now to find something that is waterproof with short sleeves to climb in, but cant find anything at all.

Surely, all that matters is keeping water off your back and a bit of heat in, but i find sleeves a pain.

Guess i am after a waterproof t-shirt, anyone any ideas?

Golf shops do them either without sleeves or with detachable sleeves. Just an idea.

Looks good, but very expensive.

Exactly if someone tries it and likes it I'd get one but thats what they all say and usually it's either water proof or breathable not both. I've found any jacket that is actually water proof gets ripped too easily in this job.

There is a fleece product which is waterproof and breathable. Its made by a company in Scotland called Nomad. http://nomaduk.net/products.htm I have one for shooting :owned:and its brilliant although it is a fleece and i am not sure how long it would last in tree work. On the plus side it is repaired by a spot of fabric glue. Even I can manage that!

They make short jackets, long coats etc etc.

Worth a look, give Phillip a call.
