Fantastic chippers, used one for 5 years on unimog u1000 and aside from blade sharpening it never went wrong. Then I bought one myself to run off a 70hp tractor which was a good combo even at the lower HP. On both the ones I used you had to use the stop bar with large timber as it had no no-stress control- brash was rarely a problem even with 70hp. Beautifully basic chippers - parts were fairly dear when I needed to repair my own once but shouldn't happen too often with good servicing.

We have a very old tp 860 we brought cheap to do a woodland job on our 95 hp tractor. Considering it was not well loved by the previous owner it has proved very good with little work (sharpening rollers, new anvil, few parts for pto clutch) all self contained hydraulics, would imagine the newer models are even better, certainly very pleased with ours now

The older chippers are more simple has they don't have the Stress control so no need for electrics etc, I have a 16 year old Jenson and very little to it .
