Fuel+oil combi can

Hi

 

My Husqvarna Combi Can has stopped working (usual symptoms leaking oil from threads and fuel spout not sealing).

 

Can any of you who use the equivalent Stihl Combi Can with auto shut off spouts recommend them? Are they up to the job and have a good life span? Or are there any other makes you'd recommend?

 

The Husqvarna can has been very poor but from reading other peoples experience of them it seems this is expected.

I use the stihl can with the cheap oil spout on both ends. Yeah it's not anti spill but just concentrate a little.

No problem with the stihl ones. I have a standard canister with the stihl add ons.

But also use this quite often.

Always used one of these, and anyone who ever used mine, wanted one!

Occasionally the threads become weak, but you can buy replacement 'heads'.

Overall amazing piece of kit.

The husky can is pants, still one is spot on, three times the price but worth it

Stihl all the way. I use the spout rather than auto stop one for the oil and pour and the petrol push one has no problems. Had a husky one for a week once before it went on the fire it wasn't fit for purpose

Yeah all the fuel fell out from where the spouts constantly cross threaded or stuck open!

I use one of these,

 

Heavy Duty Chainsaw Combi Can

 

No problems with it and I've fitted an Oregon Anti Spill Spout to the Fuel side.

The small regular spout that came with the jar is fitted on the oil side.
