They say to keep the birds 'indoors'...

 

But does that mean in the coop only (they'll not doubt go stir crazy for 30 days if only in there), or can they still have their space scratching about in the run?

 

I have a few in the back garden, their run is mesh fronted with the roof covered with clear corrugated sheets, so I'm just wondering what an office pen pusher's meaning is when they say 'indoors'...?

 

no you have to actually keep them in your house let them have free run could you imagine the mess

A cursory walk around the parish shows plenty of the farms taking not a blind bit of notice of the guidance....

 

I wonder who'll be the first to complain how hard done by they are and thrust out the hand expecting compo?

I have culled 7 chickens to make more room while they are hold up for now .
