I was hauling some pine these last few days. Trailer is a Nugent tipper, 10x6ft6 with 3ft sides.

Filled with heavy rings, I'm just fearing I was grossly overloaded?

 

If we call that 3m x 2m x1m that gives 6m^3 of space, filled carefully with 70% solid wood and 30% air space allows 4.2m^3 f solid wood. Green pine is about 1m^3 per tonne so potentially 4.2 tonnes of wood.

Definitely a pull , this guy`s trailer was on its arse when he pulled out of here. I reckon he was over three ton on an 8x6 IW with 4` greedy boards.
