Looked at a large 500kg stump that a costumer wants removed from garden.

the stump is down in a 3ft ditch and very hard access. It has steel bars through it, has been concreted, loads of sand a dirt in it. ..and is right beside there sweage pipes...Real Nightmare.!

I need to cut it up somehow to move it...any suggestions? I got told cobalt chains are good for cutting trees with dirt etc in them..any good?

I have put a full day on it....and its going to be the most expensive stump i have ever removed.

Sounds like you need a jack hammer, big angle grinder and a big sledge.

or

What me and a crazy swedish man done is drill holes in log as deep as possible then push dinamite and detonators through said holes and poke with stick once finished cover log with mat made out of tyres, connect wires to control box wind up, press button and BOOM. Controled explosion:thumbup:
