Tim, why is Zing it a waste of time?

 

too thin, hard to get a decent grip when throwing, easily tangled, easily caught in bark fissures

 

I've been a bit of a geek and spliced my zing it, it makes attaching it to the bag simple, a quick girth hitch and its on

Ha ha, nice work, could you do a couple of spliced eyes in in a new Yale xtc sometime soon? (no milking stories please) maybe a few 13mm Yale/Samson split-tails as well, ever spliced 24 strand Blaze? was thinking of using it as for blakes split-tail on XTC

Jamie, you need to get out and walk the dog more often, you have far too much time on your hands, micro splicing, whatever next ?? :biggrin:

thats the smallest whiplock i've ever done. it's not a 'proper' load bearing splice, well it's been load tested to about 16oz:001_cool:

 

i've never really tried other throwlines, i've always found it worked ok for me.
