The Rheumatic and Hernia Society say 'spring prune as soon as any danger of frost is over' because the trees are susceptible to frost damage. Any chance of putting off the job till then? You'll look ever so knowledgeable when you suggest it.

thanks guys. the customer brought her "horticultural society" tree book over yesterday.

it says light prune in late spring, so i'll do it then.

best bit is she's still paid me for doing the lot, n has told me to come n do the conny's again then as well.
