Do you even lift bro?

Ah sorry - just kidding. If you are in this business you are probably a load stronger than I.

Thankfully it will be sat on a Logosol for 90% of its working life.

I'm retired and only cut firewood but I do like to go to the local exhibition every year. I had just had a hernia operation when we went this year so I was not at my best :laugh1: I didn't even attempt the 088 they had there

I was black and blue for about 5 weeks but I was able to function normally but nothing too strenuous. About 10 weeks and I am up to previous capacity now. I did not have key hole, that is supposed to be quicker recovery. I'm booked in to have another one done at the end of February by the same surgeon, he stitches nicely so I only have a thin scar. It's not something I am looking forward to but once it's done I will be a lot happier and more comfortable. Mine is inguinal hernia are yours same ?

Had a keyhole triple in 2005, 3 months off, keyhole double 2014, 6 weeks off,

full cut open single 2015, 2 weeks off and climbing again after 6 weeks

Best of luckwith your op mate!

Yikes! Going to be double keyhole & was told a couple of weeks recovery which seemed a bit short. Took just under 6 months to get back to full strength after my appendix burst. Cheers bud

Yeah inguinal, have had it for far too long now & it's painful 24/7, even if I'm lay on the sofa. Been told it's another 3 months until the op but that will be when grass cutting starts again :-( when would you have felt up to pushing a self propelled mower about?

To the Op, sorry for the derail & just buy the bloody saw - everyone needs a 66! ;-)
