Hi i have been registered since the start only ever had customer enquiries for lorry loads of cord wood and NOT logs (WHICH WE ARE REGISTERED TO SELL) .just wondering pros and cons of not belonging in the future may hold. When you read reports in the forestry journal from firewood merchant they say it has inproved there sales ( rhi and woodsure ) i have been registered to both and it has not made any difference.to my sales. What are your thoughts ?

cheers chris

It's catch 22, I've got 15 woodfuel pellet rhi customers & 4 log rhi customers who require the licence numbers I've been audited for. I have gained business as a result, so will stick with the scheme.

Pellets are now coming in from the Baltics with BSL accreditation.

It has been rumoured Verdo are ceasing production of pellets at Grangemouth and are importing only. They are only taking in enough round wood to do them untill the end of the year.
