Right that's it, I'm sharpening my feed rollers. Many a time the stuff just sits there vibrating and I'm twisting it hoping they'll bite. Typically end up reversing the rollers and trying again. And then pulling the whole damn lot out and recutting with the saw and re-feeding - absolute bu66er...

Try sharpening the feed rollers and checking the top roller spring tension, Jensen-Redwood did our 530t and transformed the machine.

 

word of warning dont over tension the spring this can put to much force on the timber, thus more force on the bottom roller which has inadequate support that is mild steel & wares down making the bottom shaft osalate ,then snap :thumbdown:

I spent ages trying to get my 530 to feed properly. Maybe you guys who think they are great are'nt feeding proper sized pieces in :wink:

 

Mind you, the guys reckoned my jensen chipped much better han any other they had used. I'm just to used to using proper sized machines.
