Agreed that she's probably an idiot and has hopefully learned something valuable. But using a car as a deadly weapon like that isn't ok. Whatever side of the argument they are on. 

I bet she's got some pretty horrible injuries from that and it'll mess her up for a while. The driver should hopefully feel the full force of the law.

bit of an over the top sensationalism comment, you make it sound  like the driver went hunting for someone to run down, like the London bridge incident. 

the only nutcase here is the one that was attacking people just trying to go about their business. 

there are some pretty serious trump haters even on here, I don't even think any of them are stupid enough to throw themselves at passing traffic.

Well in the UK you're not allowed to block the highway, granted the police sometimes enforce this and like most weekends in central London or those climate nutters just turn a blind eye.

 

Yet all the typical the driver should have done x,y,x which is fair enough but zero alternatives.

 

Let's use a hypothetical, motorway has a bunch of those protesters blocking all traffic.

 

Police sit on their arses and do nothing, what should be done ?. You move them and they run back, sooo ?.

The car was not used as a weapon.

 

It's pretty hard to argue the driver was not threatened ,by her forcing the car to stop and slamming the hood and windscreen especially since this is recorded.

 

If she had threatened the occupants verbally as well,where I used to live over there she could have been shot quite legally. 

 

 Even in California they have 18th century self defense laws,the driver will likely sue her for damages to his car as well as emotions if he is ever identified.
