My budget is extremely low...

 

...but I'm looking at about 6k could go a bit higher...

 

Low?!! Some people can only dream of £6k!

 

You're either a driver or a mechanic they say. Funny thing is the mechanics now work on middle aged stuff more than old stuff. If you can afford to live in the warranty bubble I guess you do.

I think manufacturers build vehicles to keep you in the warranty bubble. Warranty is great but it's your fuel and time running it back to the dealer every five minutes if you get a bad one. I like Toyota even when totally shagged out they seem to get up for work on a snowy morning and tow 3 tonne all day.
