  1. Past hour
  2. I thought this was another one, when I saw that it happened "near London". But no, it was the same one that's been on the local news here, Walsall, near London. The Sikh community is up in arms about this, the latest in a string of crimes against them, stretching back to the summer. Rightly so.
  3. Your point Mark ?? Those are our own home grown shite I presume ??
  4. Geologists 🤔nope none of them on the boat Mark. Your plan to sort this is ??
  5. You'd have thought so yes. That's probably a good thing, the most comfy chairs are othen those with a bit of give in them. I've never seen one, I'd like to give one a try.
  6. Well that has actually made me feel better about it, needs must n all that
  7. Did she peg you as well then? 26 mile round trip isn’t so bad, if you’ve a decent bike. Apart from the rainy days you might even enjoy it.
  8. Aye, I’ll have to research, I’m just wondering based on efficiency reasons and cost difference what would be better an e-gravel bike or e-MTB I guess battery size and power is a consideration also.
  9. Its a thing . Nothing you can do but see it out . I got a 15 month ban when I got stopped and failed a breathalyzer after a days beating and a hip flask of sloe gin . It was a girl friend thing . I think she dobbed me in but cant be sure > ( she was a copper on the drugs squad and she had just binned me off ) I road a push bike in all weathers for the full 15 months and hopefully made me a better person for it . Bigger quads and a sore arse !
  10. I'd get an ebike. Easy pedalling on the way home when the day turns into a long one.
  11. Fill your boots.
  12. Indian-origin woman raped in UK: Police arrest 32-year-old 'white male' after manhunt; outrage over racial hate crime - The Times of India TIMESOFINDIA.INDIATIMES.COM UK News: A 32-year-old man was arrested following a manhunt after an alleged racially aggravated rape of a 20-year-old Indian-origin woman in Walsall. Police a @Johnsond How come you haven't talked about this, given that you want to save our women from sex pests? Mike F Shaw: "So Farage along with Reform and Tommy Robinson or whatever his name is this week want you to believe they are protecting our women and children from asylum seekers. Every time one is reported they rush to see what colour skin they have before jumping on the scaremongering bandwagon because in all honesty they have nothing else. Both of them have turned hatred into a profit making business and for them it’s lucrative and lining their pockets. But let’s look at some issues I have with them. Ashley Derbyshire sentenced to 15 years in prison after being found guilty of grooming, raping and sexually assaulting underage girls in Bolton. Response from Farage and Robinson? Nothing as he was a white British national. Seven members of one of Scotlands biggest grooming gangs sentenced to life in prison after girls under the age of 13 were subjected to horrific abuse in a drugs den. Iain Owen’s, Elaine Lannery, Scott Forbes, Paul Brannon, Lesley Williams, Barry Watson and John Clark. Farage and Robinsons response? Nothing, they are all white British nationals. Austin Tobias Fleming sentenced to 24 years in prison for 83 cyber enabled child sexual abuses and exploitation across the UK. Farage and Robinsons response? Once again nothing as he is a white British national. Karl Davis sentenced to 20 years in prison with 5 years on licence when released for encouraging a young girl to self harm while sexually abusing her over a period of several months. Response from Farage and Robinson? Nothing as he too is a white British national. The list just goes on and on! As soon as any sexual assault happens that the assailants do not look like a white British national or does not have a British sounding name then they jump onto social media or get their faces in front of a TV camera to spew forth their own brand of racism. Yes there are men (and some women) who commit these horrific crimes from all walks of life, racial backgrounds and ethnicity’s and all of them should be brought to justice, their names be put out in the public for everyone to see and know about. There simply cannot be this level of hypocrisy when it comes to matters such as this, sexual abuse of any type cannot be used as a political football and certainly cannot be used to divide communities based on nothing more than a hatred for particular people. It was never about protecting women and children, it’s simply racism and being supported because they hate the same people others do and it’s about time people woke up to this."
  13. A bit " boingy " to sit on I am thinking ?
  14. We are living in the fastest mass-extinction event there has been. It is unprecedented. Ask any of the geologist people on your boat.
  15. Even cooler is growing furniture from fungi mycelium. I've seen a few mentions of that also. It's probably a lot quicker that using saplings.
  16. Do whatever suits you but don't wear Lycra 😀
  17. Priceless 😀
  18. Someone's going to brick their pants when they find that.
  19. Hello, wondering if anyone cycle commutes to work and if so how far and what’s your rig? I am due a 12month driving ban(not proud), so I’m stuck between a 26mile (all round) cycle or public transport option, which is somewhat of a faff. So any thought on whether this length is doable year round, with perhaps an ebike making it easier or look perhaps pther alternatives. cheers
  20. A KG of chips 😳😳you fat bastard
  21. Iv seen that . Its quite cool but as you say takes ages and a lot of " adjustment " throughout the process . A 3 piece sweet and a chase lounge . I would be dead and so would my son 🙂
  22. Permanent marker line instead
  23. I'll give you an analogy for the CO2 thing - the article say very little CO2 in the atmosphere so how can it have an effect. Go to the chippy on Friday night, get your portion of chips (say about 1kg), add salt (say 5g, or 0.5%)... and now tell me that 0.5% of stuff has no effect.
  24. Just compensate for the perceived error .
