Gave the mower a good test on this today and faired very well considering the mess .

Yanmar 1810 21hp and power shuttle box coped well and I kept a close eye on temperature gauge and stayed the same has using the old finishing mower, admittedly I did not drop mower down completely has I did on previous field .

Kid,

What is the rationale (if there is one) behind this operation.

Why not leave nature alone?

Unless the arisings are removed, all one is doing is burning diesel to disturb a perfectly natural stable ecosystem.

marcus

Because said field needs to be put back to grass and I have postponed till now has residents of the estate are complaining and I for one totally agree with your comments but I have no choice or another contractor swoops in and starts rocking the boat on the whole estate I look after .

There is a 8 acre plot next door to This in exactly the same which is to be left alone .

Steering wheel play lol ....no hands on steering wheel is reason. .
