atv log arch

im after a log arch for my quad, just wondered if any one knows of companies selling them. i can't weld but might get a mate to build one if it comes to it.

I made one for about £200, quad wheels and hubs off ebay, i even bout a half tonne electric winch for it. I will put some pics up later for you to see. I think they are fairly expensive to buy a commercially built one.

If you have a friend who can wield then just get the parts and give him a hand, I couldnt wield until i built my tipper back, log arch, saw horse, log splitter and hiab!!!!!

Here are some pics of it in use, i had the truck that day but its obviously works better behind the quad. It was only designed to take out logs of 12-15 inches but i could build a bigger one if needed.

I was going to post their name but have also forgotten who they were.

 

They were on B12 on the site plan, but B12 is not on the attached exhibitors list.

Thats like our logging arch. But its got a electric take off on teh quad for the winch with a big plug so you don't have to use the battery. very useful bit of kit.

btw Riko were at the Highland Show with a JMS skidding arch, £745 list with a turntable and chain up to £1230 with elec winch & grab.
