Helmet cams

Hey hey, just bought me a POV1 helmet cam same as Reg's.

As new, supposedly used once, will be able to get straight down to it and record some "conifer trimming" or topping a "rose bush".

Got it mainly to fit in the windscreen of the car to record all the time the car is moving. Had an insurance claim that's been on going for two years plus the mugging I witnessed would have been recorded on film.

It will come in for alsorts.

How much? do you need a fire wire?

Got it on Tbay £350, they are retailing at around £500 to £545. A new one came up on there last week which went for £395.

As far as I know you don't need a firwire but I'll try and let you know when it comes.

Arc, they are very robust and will still work under water :scared1:

Wouldn't like to try it though

Dean, whats the out casing made from and do you know if you can you get a mouting bracket for the lens. If I get one it will probably end up under water

Arc, I think the case is a rugged ABS plastic and there are numerous clamps for all different applications, here's a good place to look http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/buy-viosport-pov1.htm?gclid=CMnJ-teKmpUCFQ6S1Qodtl0AfQ
