My boys have been a bit under the weather last couple of days and last night Dylan had a high temperature so we took him to hospital he was quickly diagnosed with meningitis! He seems to be recovering very quickly because we caught it early, I watched him deteriorate quickly and last night I thought I was going to lose him. If anybody has any doubts about their children get them straight in we've been very lucky.

Hope they are on the mend. It always hard to see your children in hospital you feel so helpless

. My youngest was in Paediatrics on Christmas and boxing day due to a virus, luckily my sister in law is a doctor and noticed it wasnt just a cold or cranky toddler. All well now thank fully but scary stuff.

You will now understand why i get on the cases of the doom and gloom brigade winging about the cold, fuel and just a general winge:sneaky2:

I remember when we discovered our young Jake was severely alergic to penecilin.

To see him in the Hosi all blown up like a balloon & us feeling completely useless was not a nice experience.

 

They are sooo venerable when young yet also unbelievably resilient at the same time.

 

 

A wonderous creation are our kids.

Thanks a lot lads! It certainly puts things into perspective doesnt it Steve. The rate at which he deteriorated was terrifying I really did think I was losing him and just wanted to see him smile again well he's just smiled at me before:thumbup: I feel like I shouldn't be on here while my boy is bad but when they were born a lot of lads on here congratulated me and if a little reminder makes someone act fast with their child it's worth putting up.
