Art SJ and RW.
Hi people I'm going to take the dive and move over to SRT but is there anyone out there who has used there SJ with the RW and how did they get on? Plus do you have a picture of your set up.

think there was some feedback on that in the Rope Wrench thread (rope-wrench-feedback)
Loads of useful stuff on there and pics of setups including spiderjack , hope that helps. You will have to trawl through quite a few pages to find it though good luck withit |

Even though not many people use an SJ under an RW it's worth reading the entire Rope Wrench Feedback thread (twice) as you'll get loads of info on technique and supplementary gear.

sounds very dodgy to me mate, think about a slip or fall and the wrench resting on the arm of the spiderjack on a 1-1 system..... i wouldnt be keen climbing or climbing with people in that setup. just my Opinion tho

is it possible for the wrench to rest on the sj lever as it would stop at where the rope feeds in. I heard of people using it bet never meet anyone that does, it all sounds a myth lol.

Here you go mate, post 798, I'm in a similar situation to you,wondering whether the sj will work srt or try a unicender instead, but would prefer to carry on using the sj if possible.

Hi, I am using a sj rw combo. I've found it works real smooth. I've let a couple of experienced climbers try my set up including Johnp (on here) and it worked for them with no alterations. My set up is on the Rope wrench feedback discussion but I'm not sure what page.
