They're Back

Well, they weren't exactly going away now were they.

There were clouds of the little bleeders all over today.

The last shot I have no idea what it is; looks like the Leaf Minor on Steroids :scared:

Anyone get a client who wants them eradicated give me a call , my spray rig will reach 40'-50' that goes for any crawling critter, proccesionary [sp] moth etc

Not doubting your expertise for a minute, Lee but the other night on tele they showed the Kew arborists collecting the processionary moth (caterpillars) into a bag, then a blow-lamp to treat the rest. Is your treatment an advancement on this?

But if I got the buggers at the right time in its life cycle i'm sure my way would be faster, I guess Kew no that as well

no probs just consulted my catalogue I can kill the critters anytime........

Won't you have to kill them on all the neighbours chestnuts as well???

I've had limited success on one site by removing and burning the leaves during the winter. Still not totally eradicated the problem though because of all the neighbours trees...
