Well well boys & girls

Rumour control has just imparted some as yet unverified information re the use & therefore the longevity of THERMAL IMAGING in relation to Tree dynamics

rumour is that DR G Percival of Bartletts tree experts is an advocate of the technology & uses it himself

Oooh, cat amongst the pidgeons that one Iain.

You obviously have a hard nosed protagonist hiding somewhere under that cuddly northern facade of yours

Good topical question for sure.

I'm literally just into reading Marcus' two (Arb Journal) papers, which he kindly sent through this morn.

Imagine me grey matter will need re-hydrating this evening, hic :001_smile:

Amazing, marcus and andrew cowan have been trying to tell you of the benifits for 6 years that I know of, now, bartletts Glyn says its cool and everyones on its virtues!

I know Andy for one has taken a lot of knocks on the chin and made a lot of personal sacrifices to bring this technology to the fore, to you guys.

If I was him or marcus, i would be pretty darn P....d off with this state of affairs, I sincerely hope this means at last those that backed it and put some hard graft into it get the payback they deserve.
