  1. Hey guys, My 2013 Vermeer bc1000xl won’t start, it cranks but won’t fire. I have narrowed it down to being my fuel solenoid isn’t getting power and I have no idea why it is not. The computer is not allowing the solenoid to get 12volts for some reason. If I plug it in directly to the battery the Solenoid will open and I get fuel and she runs but if I wire it correctly the computer doesn’t send power and the solenoid stays closed and lets no fuel past. Any idea of how to fix this? has b3.3 Cummins motor
  2. Hi, I have a Vermeer BC150 with a kubota engine, which when you really stuff it loads for about 25 mins it then over heats. Do other people have this problem.
  3. Hi Kids, I've just dragged my new (second hand) Vermeer 625 wood chipper home and immediately started looking for a user manual. Vermeer say if I give them the serial number they'll send me one. So... does anyone know where they hide the serial number on these things? I've been all over it can't see it anywhere. As always, any help gratefully received! Cheers now Rich
  4. I have the vermeer bc150 and it has over heating issues, as discussed before. I am going to change the radiator fluids and thought while it's out i might as well remove it and clean the grill. Kevin at B Trac suggested if I was going to do that I would need to clean the corners especially, eg not where the fan blows, but to do it with steam and not just a jet wash, to get it really clean. I'm a bit miffed as to what is required. Do I hire the machine or do I find some one who's got one, and who is likely to have one. Do you think the hand carwash people will have a proper steam cleaner? Also will it damage the fins?
  5. Wood Chipper - Vermeer BC1000i on eBay (end time 24-Jan-10 15:21:01 GMT) Could be a bargain at the moment...
  6. Have been looking for a cheap Stump Grinder as a first machine and have seen a Vermeer SC130 for sale. I was wondering if anybody has used this machine and if it is any good compaired to similar budget machines such as the Rayco and the Husky equivalents. Also what the availability of replacement teeth from the likes of Saturn etc is like. thanks for your advice Paul
