We will soon need another climber to join our team of 5 based just south of Oslo in Norway. You will need the ETW (European Tree Worker) certificate and need a minimum 3 years experience. Since brexit it has been harder to get visas for Brits here so ideally the applicant will have Duel nationality or a European citizenship. My company is called Ekorn Trepleie AS and has been established for 11 years, for a little more info, please take a look at the website: ekorntrepleie.no Reply to this post or pm me with a short description of your certifications, experience and contact details, i look forward to hearing from you, thanks! Please check my Facebook page out to see the quality of work carried by myself with the videos and pictures of the jobs I've done, you should be impressed. Thanks. Hi guys. Long time member/reader first time poster. I'm moving to Norway at the end July - August time. Going to a city called Stavanger. I'm going out there mainly to help my friend run a trampoline park! (I know it's a bit mental) so I'm not going to be desperate for work but I would still love to do a bit of tree work as i'll earn more money doing that. I'm currently a team leader for a company in the cheshire area with 9 years climbing experience and most of the relevant quals, so by no means a novice. I'm having a bit of trouble finding companies in that area. Only seem to find Oslo or Bergen. If anyone knows a company or a friend out there who could point me in the right direction that would be amazing. I may well end up doing a month in Oslo or Bergen as the park opening date has been pushed back a bit. Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers Josh:thumbup: ps: here's the trampoline park if anyones interested. not fully built yet but will be the size of a football pitch. https://www.facebook.com/Freedome-by-SkyZone-Norway-532434753588363/

I also heard that in Ireland and The Uk are some good trainings too. Do you guys know about any companies in Sweden, Finland, Norway (especially) or Ireland and the UK which are able to take someone for an Internship. or about any possibility to get an training to be a arborist. Greetings all, I have been offered a months trial working in Oslo. I was told I have to provide PL insurance as well as health insurance so have just started getting quotes. Trust told me they would cover me for one or two months working there but if I wanted any longer then I would have to arrange cover with a Norwegian firm. I'm waiting to hear back from Arborisk who have to ask their underwriters about longer term cover, should my trial lead to more work. I have tried to research this but there is not loads of information on the net so I wanted to know if anyone out there has experience of working in Norway and could advise me on PL insurance and anything else I may need to know. Thanks Harry
