  3. Hi, I'm on PAYE for a company in the South East (Kent)and cutting a long story short I provide my own Ppe and most of the climbing gear we use day to day for tree work. I've been climbing for 4 years the first being as an apprentice and 3 qualified. I have always been the lead climber and never once refused a tree. I have cs 30 31 38 39 first aid+F and a trailer licence. I'm fairly un educated as to fair wages as I don't know overheads etc but just wanted an idea on what I could be asking for in wages for a 9-10 hour day. THANKS IN ADVANCE
  4. Hi All, I have been working as a self-employed groundie for various tree surgeons for several years, and this is the first time I have encountered this problem. A guy I have done a couple of days' work for is refusing to pay me for spurious reasons. Does anyone have any tips on what my practical options are. I live in Scotland, so possibly the details of how small claims courts etc work could be different from in England. Any advise much appreciated. Cheers, Dru
