  2. Grounds person / Tree Surgeon, Leicestershire Job Description Johnson Tree Care is looking for a Grounds person / Tree Surgeon with immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a well established, highly reputable company. Working for an Arb Approved Contractor means that all aspects of tree surgery work is carried out to the highest standard within the industry and health & safety is paramount. This means you will be working for one of the best Tree Surgery Businesses in the industry and this also means won’t pick up any bad habits... (although one of them does pick his nose)! Grounds person position This is a support role that entails close observance of all safety issues involved in tree work as well as skills that support the work performed by the Tree Surgeons, allowing a smooth flow of productivity at the job-site. Tree Surgeon position We require an experienced climber that can work to an extremely high standard in both quality & safety with a positive attitude, self-motivation and a high attention to detail. For the right candidates there will be a natural progression to grow and develop your skills and become an integral part of our business NPTC Qualifications desired: Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting Level 2 Award in Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm Level 2 Award in Branch Removal and Crown Breakdown using a Chainsaw Level 2 Award in Accessing a Tree Using a Rope and Harness Level 2 Award in Supporting Colleagues Undertaking Off Ground Tree Related Operations Job Type: Full-time Salary and benefits package to reflect qualifications and experience within the industry

  4. Hello Everyone, I need a climbery groundie to work on a negotiated day rate, for at least a few months. We are a small to mid-sized company, 2 or 3 teams, that work for Housing Associations, Managing Agents and a few London Boroughs. CS 30,31,38,39 as a bare minimum please. We generally have a good time, nobody has been seen creeping into the chipper with a tear in their eye, anyway. We go THROUGH THE HOUSE about once a week which always causes a lot of emotion, but I think most companies do this.   6. Opportunity in Utility Arborculture. X2 positions available starting in January. Must be motivated, hard working and full of common sense. If you have always been told you have a lot of common sense, we want to talk to you! You must enjoy working outside in all weather, and be keen to learn new skills. All training will be provided and you will gain NPTC certification in all areas of Utility Arb. You will be working in a team of two. Driving Liscence is a must, preferably with the ability to drive 3.5 ton+. Any experience would be a bonus and CS30.1/.2 and first aid ideal.   7. We are a small Arboricultural Association 'Approved Contractor' We require a good hard working groundsman on a full-time basis. You will need NPTC units 30, 31, 38, 39 as a minimum, as well as a current first-aid certificate and a full CLEAN driving license with classes B & E or pre '97.
