  1. 😂 Why would you make plans ... No point being unhappy and conforming to bullshazz employment is bad for your health anyway
  2. **************** em.... Whats a " bob". Bugger off bstard?
  3. Okay who added a day to February....... However must be nearly 12hrs daylight now
  4. I'm all for trading again. I've done a few jobs recently that have involved skills swapping. Some carpet fitted for a hedge trim and crown reduction... Also some plumbing done for strimming and hedge reducing, some digging and a bit of planting. Sod bull currency and cash in my book...
  5. Okidoke I'll look tomorrow after work.👍
  6. Yeah couple of options there .find the source of the fluid....
  7. Ah ok. So paper gap on the points? 20 thou?
  8. Lol. Ok .I'll use my daily mix. Hopefully get it going...👍 Amount of kin rain we are getting I might find noah and see if he needs it 😂
  9. Oooooh 😁 Groundie is a real important and dangerous job..... First you have to be brash dragging mule...... Then you get to be climber...... THEN ...and only then you get to become groundie.....😏😬
  10. It's cleaning up nicely really. I'll post up some more pics when I get it back together. Had to mix up some fuel as it states 20:1 😁 Got no spark so need to go through it after work tomorrow.. I like it. Certainly will cut something with it to see how nasty it is 😂 Don't know if I'll sell it or not. .. you want it?
  11. Yeah I'm all for fun**ING around and enjoying what's a tough job and has it's shit days but you do have to prove some sort of longevity with regards to employment.
  12. @corey Bailey not the best attitude. After getting trained you should stay for 2 years. It's polite. The council don't mind beers and cake onsite either in my experience....😂
  13. Lol . There was a real problem amongst the utility cutting crews years ago . The powers that be started piss testing them and reduced the staff population by over 50% ...😂😂😂😂 I noticed that the trains didn't seem to go past so fast ..... Or faster .... Never did work that out...😂😂😂😂😂
  14. Dig up the non hazel species and relocate them...
  15. You will inevitably come in contact with ex forces chainsaw operators... That will help you if you can find them...
  16. Go with whom you can. I went private on training. I needed to keep working and add chainsawing to my insurance. My mate smashed his leg so I ended up working with his partner to keep their business going . Maintenance and cross cutting is cheap enough and puts you on-site with most. The rest is about being fit and as mentioned bringing lunch...lots of lunch, coffee, cake, crisps ... More lunch and some extra cake...and chocolate....and water...and biscuits.... If you go with the council I would expect you to become lazy, slow and above all far too safe to be economically viable...😁
  17. I thought coppicing hazel was exempt from needing a felling license..,..
  18. I think that warrants a can of petrol and a small child with a box of swan vesters.... After all it's ford.....😂
  19. A prolapse is not good.having a poop in your trousers is the least of your worries. If you are fit then get fitter. It will pay long term. Good luck getting a job. There's plenty around as most people your age tbh are slack as f**k so being keen and asking questions here is definitely a plus point. As you are young trying and approaching the utility sector such as electricity and trains. The work is dangerous and requires a lot of tickets which employers have to provide. It will be a no drink or drugs situation.
  20. Can cycle all day, swim miles and run a few. Do bends at night yoga style and keep my arse inside when I lift heavy items. Been cutting tree and climbing for 32years.... Still going... So yes I'm fit strong and pretty hard compared to a lot more than half my age...
  21. My first saw was a 362XP with an 18" bar. Still got it . Lovely saw. Also being 6"7" it means I don't have to bend over to coppice the hazel. It's a great saw for running through the woods . If you can get a slightly bigger saw with as much metal as possible avoiding the plastic body's etc it will last you. Get a saw with a metal side case etc... Husky 455 or something like it is a great bit of kit
  22. Today's afternoon will be getting this going. Danarm 1-71-SS it's got pop but needs a service. I'll be having some pizza then get stuck in lol. Anyone else got such a machine?
  23. Broken wire?
  24. Nope but serious injuries occur with the unwashed and lax lazy mutha kers . It's a must to have good botty retention for lifting and bending. If any time is to be spent on days off not licking wounds from the week gone by then being super fit does achieve this. Being seized up on a weekend is no fun so in order to have personal time moving around etc it's Definitely a must. If you work full-time then you should know this
