  1. have any of you guys cut trees down with a axe and a crosscut saw. Im getting ready to top some trees with a axe and a crosscut saw for a fun challenge and because im best cutting trees that way.
  2. I'm a single strap tree climber, get crap about it all the time. But that's the way I was taught to climb in that fashion so I would be a chore if I changed my climbing style. But when I'm teaching people how to tree climb I always tell them always climb with 2 buck straps around the tree. if you climb trees and have some bad habits don't pass them to people but yourself if i cut myself out of a tree okay my mistake my choice . not there choice If they where never taught to tree climb probably. Climb with two straps kids it's a smart choice.
  3. I saw a old 1984 video on YouTube about different types of saddles from the old school days and saw some saddles make from a linemens belt and rope and a wooden plank and is curious if you guys ever specifically made a arborist saddle from a linemens belt?
  4. I'm a old school tree climber and was curious if tree climbers still use the becket hitch for attaching there lanyard to there d rings? And how long have you been using the becket hitch for?
