  1. It has an orange side but the cylinder is the bigger one.
  2. A ne 346xp bought as a non runner. Will fire up but won’t run. After previously rebuilding a oe version and turning a snarly unreliable saw into a dependable machine, I’ve taken on a new challenge. Special thanks to spud for some excellent advice on the first one.

Who does everyone get their spare parts from? I've used DIY spare parts.com and they are taking ages.

OK I might be getting ahead of myself here. I'm considering doing the cylinder gasket if the carb side refit doesn't work with this air leak. I hear a lot about leaving the gasket off for more comp. What's your thoughts.

Thanks. I've bought some bits. Carb kit, bellows fuel filter etc. Once it all arrives I'll bang it on and see where we are at.

So you guys have probably heard all this before but here goes. Black pipe from tank to carb, next is the breather then a clear pipe. My clear pipe goes nowhere and has a bolt in it. If I put it on the little nipple it leaks petrol. It's a 2002 model. No decomp or primer bulb. It fires up nicely from cold or hot. But once heated up the chain advances at idle. I've adjusted the screw so it stops but the warmer it gets the worse the advancing get to the point where its actually able to cut. The boot has no splits and the fuel lines and impulse line have no splits. The cylinder is on solid. I'm struggling.
